The Chester County High School Theatre Department presented Oklahoma! by Rodgers and Hammerstein, March 12-16 at Williams Auditorium. Led by Hudson Lewis (Curly McClain), Portia Bradshaw (Laurey Williams), Lydia Smith (Aunt Eller), Anna Jewell Clayton (Ado Annie), Caleb Rogers (Will Parker), Rhett Young (Ali Hakim) and Ayden Carnell (Jud Fry), and a multi-talented ensemble, the show took viewers on a journey of rivalry and romance during the turn of the century during Oklahoma’s journey to statehood.
This show is also CCHS Theatre’s competition entry for the 2026 Orpheum High School Musical Theatre Awards. Since 2018, CCHS has had 31 nominations and two wins at the HSTMAs, which are held at the Orpheum Theatre in Memphis in May every year. CCHS Theatre would like to thank all of Chester County for its continued support of its program.
