Chester County Exchange Club - Carl Perkins Center for the Prevention of Child Abuse Prevention presents Dancing with the Chester County Stars March 15, 2025, at the annual Dinner and Auction fundraiser. Doors open at 5 p.m. and the festivities begin at 6 p.m. at First Methodist Church, 131 North Ave., in Henderson. Attendees will be treated to a variety of entertainment from the moment they arrive and can look forward to a mouth-watering meal prepared by Besso’s, to include beef brisket, garlic mashed potatoes, green beans, salad, roll and dessert. A silent auction will be open throughout the evening for perusing, and a live auction will be conducted on stage. The Carl Perkins center is accepting items for both auction events and hope to offer a variety of auction items such as art, décor, projects or products, services or experiences and more. This event is the biggest fundraiser of the year for the Perkins center. Every dollar raised in Chester County stays in Chester County, and every dollar makes a difference. The premier event will feature a dancing competition from a few of Chester County’s stars, including Andrew Fralick and Alayla Pickens, Dustin and Vivian Sanders, Ken Kitchen and Lakelin Lemmings, Lorenzo and Lauren Black and Nick Phillips and Teisha Nichols. Contestants will vie for the People’s Choice Award, Mirror Ball trophy and the Spirit Award – on the dance floor and off. The community has the opportunity to submit votes for all of their favorites with donations prior to the event.
