Robert Lee Tebbetts, born in Jackson, passed away in Los Angeles, Calif.
A private memorial will be held at a later date.
A man of God who never met a stranger, he loved sharing his faith, traveling, and telling stories from working on river barges. His greatest treasures were his five nephews and eight nieces, whom he loved more than anything.
He is survived by siblings Samantha (Jon) Tebbetts Holman, James (Diane) Tebbetts, Brenda (Jackie) Weaver and Shirley (King) Polvado.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Patricia Tebbetts; father, Don Williams; grandparents, Roy and Inez Ogilbee; and nephew, Josh Walters.
