Rosalyn Tull Weaver, 94, passed away at her home on Wednesday afternoon, June 24, 2026. Graveside services were 3 p.m. Saturday, June 27, at Chester County Memory Gardens.
She was born and raised in Chester County, the daughter of the late Buford E. and Effie Mae Cox Tull. She graduated from Chester County High School in 1950 and married James Leo Weaver that same year. They made their home at Hickory Corner before moving to the Trice Road Community. Mr. Weaver preceded her in death on Feb. 7, 2014.
She worked at Western State Mental Hospital in Bolivar as a Psychiatric Technician for 25 years. She enjoyed gardening and raising flowers, sewing, crocheting and doing jigsaw puzzles. She was especially gifted at making specialty cakes.
She is survived by her son, Ricky James (Rita) Weaver of Finger; two daughters, Phyllis Diann (Ronnie) Williams of Greenville and Carolyn Ann (Jackie) Thomas of Henderson; six grandchildren, Bree Williams, Brian (Misty) Thomas, Brandon Thomas, Brock (Christan) Thomas, Misty Cole and Ashley (Justin) Ford; 15 great-grandchildren; eight great-great-grandchildren; and a sister, Ina Lee (Max) Tull Cooper of Chattanooga.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; a grandson, Kurt Williams; and two brother, Clyde Allen Tull and Glenn Wright Tull.
