Two weddings to announce:
Congratulations to Logan Vann and Rachel James. They were married on Valentine’s Day at Chickasaw Park. Rachel is the daughter of Tim and Melanie James of Silerton. Logan is the son of Timmy and Keyda Vann of Pinson and Darla Vann of Jackson. Their daughters, Makenzi and Kennedi, were included in the ceremony as maid of honor and flower girl. Pastor Charlie Crouthers performed the ceremony.
Congratulations to Shawn Lee Yelverton and Sarah Brooke Naylor who were married on Valentine’s Day in Jackson.
A reminder that there will be a soup and sandwich fellowship at 6:30 p.m. Friday, Feb. 20, at Silerton Baptist Church. Please bring yourselves and any soup or sandwich you would like. All are welcome.

This past weekend, the Frys visited Jamie’s father, Bob Scholl, in Amarillo, Texas. Jamie had forgotten how windy it is in the high plains with the wind howling at night. On returning to Tennessee, they stopped to visit their children, Jillian and William, who live in the Oklahoma City area.
On the goat front: No news, which is usually celebrated as good, if not great, news.
