The hive mind of Silertonians once again manifested itself at a fish fry this past Saturday, which benefitted the Freed-Hardeman Mid-South Youth Camp in Henderson. August birthdays are coming up for Cody Clifton (Aug. 3), Vonda Siler (Aug. 7) and Mary Lynn Lambert (Aug. 15). Vonda is currently the oldest living Silertonian and deserving of all the rights and privileges this exalted rank gives her. Though Vonda is currently residing at an assisted living community in Jackson, Silerton still considers her very much a resident in their hearts and minds. Jamie and Marcus Fry paid her a visit last week, and except for a troublesome knee, they were pleased to find her doing well in spirit and body.
