Children now have opportunities for even more fun at Gene Record Park in Henderson with the completion of a new playground beside the splash pad and soccer fields. Mark Barber, park board chairman, said, “The park board is excited about the expansion at the park and has been in communication with the local soccer league to make sure everything is ready to go for their upcoming season.” Pictured, Luna and Lennon played at the new facility Tuesday morning while visiting from Nashville.
