Approximately 22 Chester County Lions met on Monday, September 18, and during that meeting, honored the Student of the Month for September. CCHS student Addison Stanley was recognized as the Dr. Ronald Johnson Lions Club Student of the Month. Addison is the daughter of Jason and Lisa Stanley and is a junior. She is a member of the Beta Club, HOSA, and is a member of the HOSA-MRC Comp Team. She also plays on the tennis team and is a member of the football tech team. She recently started working at City Drugs. In her spare time, she likes to read, hang out with friends, and spend time with her puppy, Maddi. In her future, she would like to go to college to become a Registered Nurse and become a flight or travel nurse.
According to Mrs. McPherson, one of her instructors, “Addison Stanley is dedicated, hardworking, and a strong leader. She has single-handedly headed up all of the emergency preparedness for the upcoming year with many projects for CCHS. She even worked on her own during the summer to earn her CPR certification. She is leading a team that will compete with HOSA at State in Chattanooga. Addison is amazing!”
Tennis Coach Mike Showers shared, “I have had the pleasure of coaching Addison in Tennis as well as my football tech team. She is ALWAYS positive and upbeat. She accepts constructive comments and works to be better, always. I honestly can say she is one of my very favorites. Not necessarily because of great ability or natural skills (she does have those, too), but because of hard work and a desire to succeed that if I could put in all my players or students, I would. She is very deserving of the Lions Club honor. I am so glad she got to be part of this special achievement. My daughter received it when she was in school and it is still one of her favorite memories from high school. I hope it is the same for Addison!”
Congratulations, Addison!
