Local 4-H students participated in 4-H Congress at Tennessee’s capital March 7-11. The Chester County delegates learned about debating bills and laws while gaining valuable leadership and public speaking skills. Senator Page Walley said, “Having been fortunate to grow up in 4-H myself, it is always a pleasure to welcome and support our District’s young people who are learning the life-lessons taught by 4-H. Shaping our youth to be virtuous, servant-hearted citizens blesses our communities and assures we have the future leaders we so desperately need.”
