Southwest Tennessee Electric Membership Corporation provided a Live Line Safety demonstration Thursday morning, Aug. 13, at the Chester County Fairgrounds for local emergency responders, crews, students and others. Community Relations Specialist Kenley Mitchell Glore said, “This hands-on training gave them a close-up look at real-life electrical hazards—like what happens when a vehicle comes into contact with a live line, when a ladder touches an energized line, and even how something as small as a squirrel can cause big problems in power infrastructure.”
