Tammy Lynn Barton, 51, of Henderson passed away Jan. 16, 2022 at her home. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 20, at Shackelford Funeral Directors – East Main Chapel. Burial will follow in Chester County Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends at East Main from noon-2 p.m. on Thursday.
She was born June 27, 1970 in Peoria, Ill., the daughter of Brenda Lee Matthews Barton and the late Bobby Bruce Barton. She grew up in Chester County and graduated from Chester County High School in 1988. She attended Southeastern Illinois College and earned her LPN Degree.
She then moved back to Henderson and began her nursing career in local clinics and nursing homes.
She enjoyed horses, barrel racing, working out and was a big music fan. She loved spending time with her family. She was a Baptist in belief.
She is survived by her mother, Brenda Lee Matthews Barton of Henderson; a brother, Darin (Kim) Barton of Henderson; nephews, John Barton and Bradley Barton; great-nephew, Kyle Barton; and great-nieces, Sage Barton and Lakelyn Barton.
