According to a release from the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation, at the request of 26th Judicial Attorney General Jody Pickens, TBI special agents are conducting an investigation involving the death of an inmate in the Chester County Jail. This remains an active and ongoing investigation.
Due to the nature of the investigation, details are limited. “We have no additional information to provide at this time,” said TBI Public Information Officer Keli McAlister.
