CCHS Basketball honors Stidham for her service to the program as she retires
When this year’s Chester County High School basketball season ends, long-time scorekeeper Donna Stidham will put down her pencil and retire. The CCHS Basketball program did not let her retire without recognizing her for 37 (1986-2023) years of scorekeeping. On Tuesday, February 21, during the day of the district tournament, CCHS and the CCHS Basketball Program honored Stidham for her service to Chester County Basketball by presenting her with a plaque aknowledging her service. The audience in attendance gave her a great applause. The plaque reads “With Love and Gratitude, We Honor Donna Stidham. Thank you for 37 years of service and loyalty to the CCHS Basketball Program. You have made a difference in the program and more importantly in the lives of the athletes and coaches.” Pictured above is Stidham scorekeeping during the Eagles district game against Lexington for third place in the district.
