The West Tennessee Regional Health Office announces a new director for Chester County Health Department

The West Tennessee Regional Health Office is proud to announce that Josh Moore has been named the new Chester County Health Department Director.
“We are pleased to welcome Josh into his new role as County Director,” said West Tennessee Regional Director, Shelley Hayes. “His extensive background and years of experience within our organization will serve him well in this position. We are certain his leadership will continue to have a positive impact on the health outcomes in this community.”
“I am honored to join such a dedicated team of public health professionals,” said Moore. “Together, we will continue working to strengthen programs and resources that have a positive impact of the residents of Chester County.”
The Chester County Health Department is proud to offer numerous health programs and services in the community including:
Immunizations – Childhood and adult vaccinations are available to protect against many diseases.
GIFTS – Tennessee’s pregnancy smoking cessation program.
TNSTRONG – Youth-led movement advocating for tobacco-free lifestyles.
Women, Infants and Children, or WIC – Supplemental nutrition for mothers and young children.
Birth and Death Certificates – Certified copies of birth certificates can be obtained for Tennessee births. Certified copies of death certificates can also be obtained for deaths occurring in Tennessee.
