Tina Marie Florida, 59, passed to her heavenly reward on May 30, 2025 at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital due to complications from long term health conditions. The family will have a private gathering to memorialize her life. There will be no public services.
Born in Henderson, Ky., on Feb. 16, 1966, she was raised by her beloved mother in the love of the Lord.
She desired to do mission work and attended Freed-Hardeman University where she earned a Bachelor’s degree in Art. She was a member of the Henderson church of Christ, loved her church family and was so appreciative of their love and support over the years.
She was a devoted mother who raised her two children to know the Lord. She read her Bible daily, always had a positive attitude and never complained through difficult circumstances. She always maintained her great sense of humor.
She loved her extended family and kept in touch by phone, cards and letters with many of them. She also had many friends that she enjoyed staying in touch with over the years.
She is survived by her two children, Tabitha Florida and Kenton Florida; her mother; an uncle; several aunts; and multiple cousins.
