The Chester County Eagles are off to a strong start to the 2026 season, picking up wins over Crockett County and Scotts Hill during the opening week.
The Eagles opened the year Monday night with a 4–1 victory over Crockett County. After several scoreless innings, Chester County broke through in the fifth inning with three straight singles. Ethan Burks drove in the first run of the season, helping spark the rally.
Lane Estes started on the mound for the Eagles and turned in a solid outing, allowing just two hits over three scoreless innings while striking out four. Tage Hill picked up the win in relief, working two innings and allowing only one hit while striking out two. Jaden Weaver also saw action out of the bullpen.
Estes led the Eagles at the plate with two hits in two at-bats, while Burks, Estes and Weaver each drove in a run.
Chester County followed that performance with another win Thursday night, rallying for an 11–8 victory over Scotts Hill.
The Eagles fell behind early but battled back with a big sixth inning, scoring six runs to take the lead. Heath Stewart delivered the biggest hit of the inning with a double that drove in three runs.
Chester County finished the night with 13 hits. Lane Estes and Ethan Rhodes each collected three hits, while Elam Murphy added two. Stewart drove in four runs to lead the Eagles offensively.
RJ Patel started on the mound for Chester County. Nolan Warren and Will Davis worked in relief, with Davis earning the win. Weaver closed out the game with two strong innings on the mound, striking out four to secure the save.
With the two victories, Chester County improves to 2–0 on the young season.
