Jacks Creek Community Club members met on Thursday, June 11, with 32 members and guests present. The meeting area at the Community of Christ Church was decorated with stars and stripes as the 250th year was celebrated with beautiful decorations. Several flags were on the tables and other areas in the meeting room. Guest plates and glasses were red, white and blue along with the napkins.
Wonderful songs honoring America’s birthday were presented by the four-man band led by Mike McCutchen and Jerry Lowe. Mr. McCutchen was the vocalist as he entertained the group with several songs.
The meal consisted of burgers from Jacks Creek Grill & Go, soft drinks and desserts supplied by Lance Beshires. Other members brought additional desserts.
We hope to see more community members and guests at the next meeting.
