The Freed-Hardeman University Associates will be holding their Fall/Winter Rummage Sale Sept. 23-26 at the National Guard Armory, 759 E. Main St., Henderson. Times are as follows: 7:30 a.m.-5 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 23, and Thursday, Sept. 24 (items full price); 7:30 a.m.-5 p.m. Friday, Sept. 25 (items half price); and 7:30 a.m.-noon Saturday, Sept. 26 (bag day sale).

Made in the Shade Car Show Oct. 10
The Pinson-Trinity United Methodist Men will have their second annual "Made in the Shade" Car Show from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 10, at Trinity. Awards will be presented at 12:30 p.m. Trophies will be presented in four classes. Food and drink will be available for sale. Youth Olympics Camp Oct. 12-16
UT Extension will hold a Youth Olympics Camp from 9 a.m.-noon Oct. 12-15 for grades kindergarten through sixth. Grades seventh through 12th can apply to be team leaders.
