The Henderson|Chester Chamber of Commerce’s Community Candidate Forum begins at 6 p.m. Thursday, April 2 at Henderson City Hall.

Wrestling Benefit
The 20th Annual Carl Perkins Wrestling Benefit will be at 7 p.m. Saturday, April 4, at Chester County High School. Cost is $15 at the door. Children under 12 are free.
CCHS Fundraiser - Car Show
The Chester County High School Automotive Class presents the CCHS Fundraiser Car Show from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Saturday, April 4, at Chester County High School, 552 E Main St., Henderson. Cost for show entry is $30. Goodie bags will be given to the first 100 entries. All makes and models are welcome. An Easter egg hunt will be held at 1 p.m. at the football field. Chickasaw Egg Hunt
Chickasaw State Park will host the annual Egg Hunt at 12:30 p.m. Saturday, April 4, at 20 Cabin Ln., Henderson. The egg hunt will begin at 1 p.m. There will be prizes for golden eggs in each age group. For more information, can 989-5141.

TCAT Career Fair
TCAT invites businesses to participate in our upcoming Career Fair Series, designed to connect employers with highly trained students specializing in skilled trades and technical careers. The fair will be held from 11 a.m.-3 p.m. Tuesday, April 7, at Henderson City Hall, 121 Crook Ave. These events are open to both TCAT students and the public.

Finger Fish Fry and Chicken Dinner
The Finger Fire Department will hold an all-you-can-eat fish fry and barbecue chicken dinner from 1-5 p.m. Saturday, April 11. Cost is $15 for adults and $8 for children.
Finger Cemetery Clean Up Day
The Finger Cemetery clean up day will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, April 11. In case of rain, the clean up day will be Saturday, April 18. Volunteers are encouraged to help in the clean up. Donations are needed for mowing and maintenance of the cemetery. Donations may be made at Home Banking Company or to any of the cemetery members.

FHU Spring/Summer Rummage Sale
The Freed-Hardeman University Associates will hold their Spring/Summer Rummage Sale April 22-25 at the National Guard Armory, 759 E. Main St., Henderson. Times for sales are 7:30 a.m.-5 p.m. Wednesday, April 22 (items full price); 7:30 a.m.-5 p.m. Thursday, April 23 (items full price); 7:30 a.m.-5 p.m. Friday, April 24 (items half price); and 7:30 a.m.-noon Saturday, April 25 (bag day sale – fill 13-gallon bag for $5 or 30-gallon bag for $10).

Lip Sync Dance Battle Dinner and Auction
The Carl Perkins Center will host “An Evening with the Stars” Lip Sync Dance Battle Dinner and Auction on April 25 at First Methodist Church, 131 North Ave. Doors will open 5 p.m. with the event beginning at 6 p.m.

Community Baby Shower
A Community Baby Shower and Family Engagement Event honoring mothers-to-be, new mothers and families with children up to five will be held at the Chester County Senior Center, 2467 E Main St., from 9 a.m.-noon Saturday, May 2. For more information, call the Chester County Health Dept. at 989-7108.

Class of 1976 - 50 Year Reunion
The Chester County High School Class of 1976 50 year class reunion will be at Saturday, May 30, at First Baptist Church in Henderson. Doors will open at 5 p.m. with dinner being served at 6 p.m. Registration forms are being mailed out in early March. RSVP by April 30.
