American Legion Meeting Aug. 20
American Legion Davidson-Haltom Post 157 will hold its monthly meeting on Thursday, August 20, 2026 beginning at 6:30 p.m. in the Senior Center in Henderson. This meeting will be highlighted by the attendance of the three high school juniors (now seniors) who were carefully selected as recipients of a fully-funded scholarship to attend the Tennessee American Legion BOYS STATE, INC. program at Tennessee Technological University in Cookeville May 24 - 29, 2026. All Legionnaires and veterans are invited to attend.
Enville Wild Goose Shindig Aug. 22
The annual Enville Wild Goose Shindig will be from 4-8 p.m. Aug. 22 at the Enville Community Center. There will be a silent auction, a cakewalk and live music by The Wayne Whitten Band along with barbecue pork, chicken, bologna, hamburgers, hotdogs and ice cream.
Davis Family Reunion Aug. 23
The annual Davis Family Reunion will be held on Sunday, Aug. 23, at New Friendship Community Center. Doors will open at 11 a.m., and the potluck meal will be served at 12.30 p.m. Please share this with your family members.
