Chester County Schools started their 2019-20 school year last Thursday Aug. 1.
The Chester Junior High School made sure to greet their students with the best of greetings to start the year as good as possible.
As one would approach the middle school that day, they would not only have the sun shining down on them but also have smiles shining in every direction from faculty and other students as they welcomed them back to school.
They were strategically spread out across the campus where it wasn’t possible for you not to be greeted by them with their welcome signs saying things like “Welcome to CCJHS!” and “You Rock!”
Even the CCJHS cheerleaders took part in welcoming the students as they stood at the doors of the bus and car lines cheering the students on to have a great year.
Then once the students were inside and handled everything needed to start the year, they were able to take selfies and photos in front of a backdrop.
“We wanted them (students) to know what a caring and loving faculty we are,” said Principal Dr. Belinda Anderson.
Mr. Troy Kilzer II, Director of Schools for Chester County Schools, desires that the students, faculty and staff all have enriching experiences this school year.
“I hope that students and staff will have memories that impact them in positive ways,” he said. “We want to maximize our students’ education and hope they get the full scope of service as well.”
