After finishing the season with a postseason ranking of 22, Freed-Hardeman baseball saw two players listed as honorable mentions in the 2022 NAIA Baseball All-America poll. Colton Huntt ended his season on the mound with an 8-4 overall record. The sophomore right-hander ended the year with a 3.33 ERA while striking out 79 batters in 83 2/3 innings. Also mentioned was third-baseman Will McCall. The 6-0 junior tore through opposition pitching staffs with a .399 batting average. McCall led the Lions in both doubles and home runs with 18 and 15, respectively.
