The Chester County Sheriff’s Department released additional information Monday concerning the Tuesday, Oct. 27 attempted entry of the Chester County High School, by two unauthorized male juveniles, during a regularly scheduled class at approximately 2 p.m. that day.
According to the release, an observant staff member saw one of the juveniles as he entered into the lobby, which prompted both juveniles to flee from the property.
An administrator at CCHS reportedly saw one of the subjects on the property of the Chester County Middle School a short time later and challenged him. The sheriff’s office said the subject fled the property and was seen leaving in a red SUV.
It is reported that deputies with the Sheriff’s Dept. located the SUV and conducted a traffic stop within minutes.
Both juveniles were taken into custody after deputies discovered a firearm in the vehicle.
According to the Sheriff’s Dept., the suspects have been remanded to a juvenile detention facility pending disposition.
