Loving Paws Rescue Requesting Items

Noah’s Ark Preschool Spring Flower Fundraiser now-March 31
Noah’s Ark Preschool is holding their annual Spring Flower Fundraiser. You can purchase a hanging basket for $15 or a potted plant for $21. The hanging basket choices are Passionate Pink Mix, Tri and True Mix, Celebration Mix and Sunset Mix. Potted plant choices are Rockin Red, Geranium, fruit Crush Dahlia, Kitchen Herb, Lantana Butterfly and Sunbeam Mix. All orders are due March 31. Please call 989-6880 to place your order.

Pinson Ruritan Stew March 26
The Pinson Ruritan Stew will be on March 26 at the Pinson Ruritan building. Stew will be ready at 7:30 a.m. Please bring your own container. Numbers to reserve: 731-988-5240 for Becky and 731-520-0251 for Liz. There will also be a bake sale. If you want fresh cornbread to go with stew, call Liz.

American Legion Pancake Breakfast March 26
American Legion Davidson-Haltom Post 157 in Henderson will host a Pancake Breakfast on Saturday morning, March 26, from 7-10 a.m. in the Chester County Senior Center, 247 E. Main Street in Henderson.  Besides pancakes, the Post will be serving bacon and sausage with coffee, orange juice, milk, and water. All veterans, their spouses, families and all community supporters of veterans are invited to attend.  The cost is $7 person; however, the cost is free for any veteran who joins the Post at that time. Membership in the American Legion is open to veterans and persons who are presently serving on active duty with the Reserves or with the National Guard. CC Historical Society
Meeting April 4

The Chester County Historical Society will resume regular monthly meetings at 7 p.m. April 4 at the Senior Center. Mr. Holtin will share an impossible-sounding but true story that starts wi.th a 1951 recording of a young farm laborer in Missouri who died shortly after and ends with a pleasantly surprised family in West TN. Our May meeting will feature a newly discovered, unheard recording of Henderson’s own Waynell Jones.  Come join us.

Enville Community Club Candidate Invitation April 5
The Enville Community Club invites all candidates to come speak on April 5 at 6:30 p.m. at the community center. There will be a potluck meal.  For questions or more information, contact Jan Johnson at 608-3058.

CC Democratic Party
Meeting April 21

The Chester County Democratic Party quarterly meeting is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. Thursday, April 21. The meeting will take place up stars in the classroom at the Henderson City Hall, 121 Crook Ave, Henderson. Members will discuss the party’s agenda, events for 2022 and coming up election. This meeting will be open for all attendees to express their ideas and thoughts about the future. All Democratic residents who are eligible voters of Chester County are urged to attend.
