Class of 1968 Reunion May 6
The Chester County High School Class of 1968 will hold their 55th class reunion on Saturday, May 6. The reunion will be held at the Brown-Kopel Business Center on the Freed-Hardeman University campus at the corner of East Main St. and Hamlett Ave. The building will open at 4 p.m. for socializing with class members before the meal at 6 p.m. The cost will be $25 per person. The deadline to register will be April 22 and payments can be made to Keith Smith at P.O. Box 146, Henderson, TN 38340. Litter Prevention Tarp Giveaway May 20
Chester Co. Solid Waste, 315 Talley Store Rd., will have a Litter Prevention Tarp giveaway sponsored by Keep Tennessee Beautiful from 9-11 a.m. Saturday, May 20. This is a rain or shine event and will be while supplies last.

Lifeline Blood Drive May 22
Lifeline Blood Services will hold a blood drive from 1-6 p.m. Monday, May 22, at the Henderson church of Christ

Memorial Day
Ceremony May 29

American Legion Post 157 in Henderson will host a solemn commemorative ceremony on Memorial Day, Monday, May 29, beginning at 11 a.m. in the Council Chambers on the second floor of Henderson City Hall in Henderson,to honor all military veterans who willingly made the Supreme Sacrifice to safeguard the United States of America. The public is encouraged to attend the approximately one-hour ceremony. This year’s commemoration titled “Always Remember” specifically remembers the enormous cost in American war dead and wounded from the “police action” commonly known as the Korean War. We will remember and honor the three Chester Countians known to have served and died in that faraway land.

Alumni Day June 3
Chester County High School Alumni Association’s Annual Alumni Day will be June 3. Doors open at 10 a.m. with program starting at 11 a.m. and a meal to follow. We ask if you are planning to attend to please remit payment of $25 per person by May 26 to CCHS Alumni Association, PO Box 163m Henderson, TN 38340.
