Flag Retirement Ceremony June 14
American Legion will be having a flag retirement ceremony and flag folding at Gene Record Park on at 3 p.m. June 14. We will be retiring no less than 20 flags and public is invited to attend and bring unserviceable flags.
CC Retired Teachers Meeting June 17
Chester County Retired Teachers will meet at noon on Wednesday, June 17, at Snookum’s. The sponsor is Peoples Bank. The speaker will be Mike Barker. Membership dues will be collected. 
Juneteenth June 19
Come out to help celebrate JUNETEENTH from 5-9 p.m. June 19 at the Old Vincent High School, located at 186 Luray Ave, Henderson (North Chester Alternative School). There will be a Meet and Greet of local candidates running for official offices. There will be Q/A time for the candidates and booths for voter registration. Program is sponsored by Oasis CDC and Concern Citizens of Chester/Henderson Community. It is a FREE event! Refreshments will be served. For more information, contact Rev. CC Head Start Accepting Applications
Southwest Head Start is now taking application on three- and four-year old children for Chester County Head Start. There are no fees for services. Let us take your application by phone. Call Lisa Brantley at 731-614-1575 or Shana Taylor at 731-549-0028.
