Chester County Commodity Dates Feb. 10 and 11
Commodities will be distributed at the Main SWHRA Office on White Ave. on Feb. 10 for those whose last names end in A-L and Feb. 11 for those whose last names end in M-Z.
Finger Volunteer Fire Department Fish Fry Feb. 13
The Finger Volunteer Fire Department will hold an all you can eat fish fry and barbeque chicken dinner from 2-6 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 13. Dine in or carry out will be available. Cost is $12 for adults and $6 for children. All proceeds will go towards the operating expenses of the Finger Fire Department. Please wear a mask for your protection
Lifeline Blood Services Blood Drive Feb. 23
Lifeline Blood Services will hold a blood drive at Piggly Wiggly from 1-6 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 23
FHU Associates Rummage Sale March 18-20
The FHU Chester Co. Associates will be holding their Spring Rummage Sale Thursday, March 18, through Saturday, March 20, at the National Guard Armory, 759 E. Main Street. The sale will include household items, clothing and accessories, furniture, tools, books, etc. Times are 7:30 a.m.-5 p.m. Thursday; 7:30 a.m.-5 p.m. Friday (all items half price); and 7:30 a.m.-noon Saturday (fill a 13 gallon bag for $5 or a 30 gallon bag for $10).
