Cookies for Cancer Sunday Family Fun Day Aug. 8
Cookies for Cancer will have Sunday Family Fun Day from noon-4 p.m. at Gene Record Park at the Splash Pad. There will be games, races, free hamburgers and hotdogs. Donation items needed are chips, candy, coloring books, children’s toys, etc.
Lifeline Blood Drives July 16
Lifeline Blood Services will be hosting a blood drive from 1-6 p.m. at First Baptist Church “Battle of the Badges.”
Ice Cream Social July 17
Deanburg Community Club will be having a ice cream supper at 5 p.m. Saturday, July 17. There will be homemade ice cream with cake followed by bingo. Please bring a gift for the bingo table. We will play until everyone receives a prize. Karaoke by Shane Burkeens. There is no charge, but donations will be accepted.
MSYC Fish Fry July 24
The Mid-South Youth Camp Annual Fish Fry will be held from 4-6 p.m. July 24 at MSYC. Chicken substitution is available. Plates include fish, slaw, fries, condiments, drink and dessert. Cost is $10 per plate. Dine in or carry out will be offered. Tickets available at the door.
