MSYC Fish Fry July 24
The Mid-South Youth Camp Annual Fish Fry will be held from 4-6 p.m. July 24 at MSYC. Chicken substitution is available. Plates include fish, slaw, fries, condiments, drink and dessert. Cost is $10 per plate. Dine in or carry out will be offered. Tickets available at the door.
Weaver Family Fundraiser July 24
There will be a fundraiser for Weaver Family’s accident from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday, July 24, at J B Small Engines. Cheeseburger, barbeque or bologna plates for sale, a silent auction and a live auction.
Cookies for Cancer Sunday Family Fun Day Aug. 8
Cookies for Cancer will have Sunday Family Fun Day from noon-4 p.m. at Gene Record Park at the Splash Pad. There will be games, races, free hamburgers and hotdogs. Donation items needed are chips, candy, coloring books, children’s toys, etc.
Day Adoption Benefit Aug. 14
The Day Adoption Benefit will be from 11 a.m.-4 p.m. Aug. 14 at Jacks Creek Apostolic Church cafeteria, 150 McAdams Loop, in Jacks Creek. Grilled chicken thigh plate with creamed potatoes, white beans, corn bread, drink and dessert will be for sale for $8. There will be a silent auction, candy bar and sucker table, a envelope money board and a cupcake slide. All funds will go towards the Day Family’s adoption finalization. The 43rd Annual Chester County BBQ Festival is Friday, Sept. 24, and Saturday, Sept. 25. The Henderson|Chester County Chamber of Commerce is now accepting all vendor applications. Please visit https://chestercountybbqfestival.com/ for more information.”
Southwest Head Start Applications now
