Hickory Corner Community Center Feb. 10
The Hickory Corner Community Center is having its annual Valentines Party on Saturday, Feb. 10, beginning at noon with a potluck finger food meal. Following the meal, there will be a drawing for King and Queen then games of Bingo. Soft drinks will be provided by the Center. Everyone is invited to come join us for a period of fellowship and fun. Just bring your favorite sandwiches or finger foods, a dessert, and an inexpensive Bingo prize.

Finger Volunteer Fire Dept. Fish Fry Feb. 10
Finger Volunteer Fire Department will hold a fish fry and barbeque chicken dinner from 2-5:50 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 10. There will be all you can eat fish or chicken with all the trimmings and homemade desserts. Dine in or carry out will be available. Cost is $14 for adults and $6 for children. All to go plates are $14. All proceeds will go towards the operating expenses of the Finger Fire Dept.

Sweetlips Community Center Stew/Bake Sale Feb. 10
The Sweetlips Community Center Stew/Bake Sale will be Feb. 10 at the Sweetlips Community Center. Snow date is Feb. 17. Stew will be ready at 10:30 a.m. Bring your own container for the stew. All proceeds going to the upkeep and maintenance of the fire department and community center. The stew goes quickly and is $25 per gallon. Seventh Annual Black History Program Feb. 17, 2024
The Seventh Annual Black History Program will be from 2-4 p.m. Feb 17, 2024 at 247 E Main St. in Henderson. We are inviting volunteers to share their talent with our community. Singers, artists, dancers and poets are welcomed. Chester County students are invited to create foldable poster boards about our theme, “African Americans and The Arts.” The poster boards will be displayed at different locations in Henderson for the month of February. Deadline for submitting a poster is Jan 26, 2024. This will be a free event that the entire family can enjoy.
