Meeting March 4
The Chester County Historical Society will meet March 4 at 7 p.m. at the Senior Center. Laquita Thomson will present a program called “The Diary of a Young Girl from Purdy, TN just after the Civil War.” Our meetings are open to all interested in history, genealogy, and good company. Come join us.
Montezuma Big Country Breakfast March 16
The Montezuma Big Country Breakfast & Bake Sale will be Saturday, March 16. We will be serving from 7-10 a.m. We will have breakfast meats, scrambled eggs, homemade biscuits, gravy and drinks. Plates will be $8 each, and we do accept donations. Kim Gray will be set up during the breakfast for photos with the Easter Bunny for $10. CC Democratic Party Convention March 16
The Chester County Democratic Party will hold their Convention at noon Saturday, March 16. The meeting will take place at 121 Crook Ave. Henderson TN 38340, in the Henderson City Hall on the second floor. The doors will open at 11 a.m.-noon for registrations. Doors will be closed at noon. All Democratic residents who are eligible voters of Chester County are urged to attend. We will choose Selectors to attend the April 6 Congressional District Convention. Class of 1974 50th
Reunion June 22
The Chester County High School Class of 1974 will have its 50 year class reunion on Saturday, June 22, 2024 at JL Acres, 1320 Holly Springs Rd., Henderson. Doors will open at 6 p.m. with dinner being served at 7 p.m. Cost is $50 per person and can be mailed to Bob Moore, 2435 Old Friendship Rd., Finger, TN 38334.
