Dwight L. Burton
, 54, 313 N. Franklin Ave., was arrested and charged with simple possession/casual exchange, possession of unlawful drug paraphernalia, manufacture/delivery/sale or possession of a schedule II controlled substance and driving an unregistered vehicle and violation of the vehicle financial responsibility act. He was released from the Chester County Jail after posting a $5,000 bond.
Shonda Renee Davis, 44, 1110 Short Farrow Road, was arrested and charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, sixth offense driving on a canceled/revoked or suspended license, manufacture/delivery/sale of a schedule III controlled substance and possession of handgun while during commission of a dangerous felony. She is held in the Chester County Jail in lieu of a $100,000 bond, in addition to no bond on another charge.

Brett Deshun Barham
, 29, 358 Baughn St., was arrested and charged with second offense driving on a canceled/revoked or suspended license and violation of the seatbelt law. He was released from the Chester County Jail after posting a $1,500 bond.

4:56 p.m. – 1649 US Hwy 45 N, grass fires, suspected to be due to mechanical malfunction of a vehicle.

12:44 p.m. – 335 E. University St., Freed-Hardeman University, Sewell Hall, student trapped in elevator due to power surge or electrical malfunction.

Kyshondra Shayne Gooden
, 27, 965 Busby Lane, was arrested and charged with first offense driving on a canceled/revoked or suspended license. She was released from the Chester County jail after posting a $1,000 bond.
Deonte D. Hale, 28, Ramer, was arrested and charged with violation of Community Corrections. He is held in the Chester County Jail in lieu of a $1,350 bond.
Donald R. Hooper, 71, Toone, was arrested and charged with aggravated stalking. He was released from the Chester County Jail on his own recognizance.
Christopher Marqui Rodgers, 22, Humboldt, was arrested and charged with three counts criminal simulation and two counts theft up to $1,000. He was released from the Chester County Jail after posting a $5,000 bond.
A Chester County resident reported trespassing and vandalism to a Cooper Lane property. According to the report, the property owner found “No Trespassing” signs taken down and damaged, destruction of a decorative mailbox, a bent fence post and empty beer cans deposited on the property, in addition to encountering two individuals riding four-wheelers on the property. Damage was estimated at $35.

, 29, 1565 Simmons Road, was arrested and charged with driving under the influence. He was released from the Chester County jail after posting a $1,000 bond.

Linwood Luther Butler
, 39, Jackson, was arrested and charged with violation of Community Corrections. He is held in the Chester County Jail in lieu of a $1,600 cash only bond.
Torocko Wellington Polk, 43, Bolivar, was arrested and charged with fourth offense driving on a canceled/revoked or suspended license, and was released from the Chester County Jail after posting a $250 cash only bond.
William T. Shields, 51, Adamsville, was arrested and charged with possession of drug paraphernalia. He was released from the Chester County Jail after posting a $1,000 cash bond.

, 32, Pinson, was arrested and charged with violation of Community Corrections. He was released from the Chester County Jail on his own recognizance.
Johnathan Andrew Kelley, 27, Reagan, was arrested and charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, violation of the vehicle financial responsibility act, possession of methamphetamine with intent, possession of schedule I/heroin with intent, possession of schedule III/suboxone with intent, driving while in possession of methamphetamine, possession of a legend drug without a prescription, violation of the drug free school zone law and violation of the vehicle window tint law. He is held in the Chester County Jail in lieu of $150,000 bond.
Cynthia Elen Neal, 32, 1030 Emerson Road, was arrested and charged with violation of Community Corrections – Misdemeanor. She is held in the Chester County jail with no bond.

, 35, Adamsville, was arrested and charged with theft of property from $1,000 to $2,500. He is held in the Chester County Jail in lieu of a $5,000 bond.

, 41, 327 N. Franklin Ave., was arrested and charged with violation of Community Corrections. She was released from the Chester County Jail after posting a $1,200 cash bond.
Michael Wayne Hesbol, 52, Hornsby, was arrested and charged with contempt of court. He is held in the Chester County Jail in lieu of $2,000 bond.
March 8, 2020
A report was taken of damage to Pisgah Cemetery, on Pisgah Road. According to the report, it appeared that approximately 1,000 square feet of the cemetery had been burned, resulting in smoke stained monuments, melted artificial flowers and charred landscape timbers. Damage was estimated at less than $100.

, 22 165 Dusty Road, pled guilty to class D felony reckless aggravated assault, and was sentenced to four years in a TDOC facility at 30 percent prior to release eligibility, receiving credit for time served pretrial, to serve a minimum of 45 days prior to release on probation or Community Corrections, all suspended and supervised. He was ordered to pay court costs plus $500 in fines, and is to follow all rules of probation, supervised by Community Corrections, to have no conduct with victims or witnesses, must submit to random drug and alcohol screen and must maintain full time employment or be a full-time student. The involved weapon was to be forfeited to Chester County Sheriff’s Department.

Junius Dirkans
, 23, Jackson, pled guilty to count one class E felony possession of a weapon by a convicted felon and sentenced to two years in a TDOC facility at 35 percent prior to release eligibility, with credit for time served pretrial, and ordered to pay court costs plus $500 in fines. The involved weapon was forfeited to the State of Tennessee. Dirkans pled guilty to counts two/three (merged), class B misdemeanor second or subsequent offense driving on a canceled/revoked or suspended license, and was sentenced to 11 months and 29 days in the Chester County Jail, receiving credit for time served pretrial, and ordered to pay $50 in fines. He pled guilty to count four, class C misdemeanor, failure to obey any required traffic control device. He was sentenced to 30 days in the Chester County Jail, with credit for time served pretrial, and ordered to pay $50 in fines. All counts are concurrent.
