Ted Lingren Obituary – APRIL 1, 1938 – DEC. 19, 2021

Teddy Dean Lingren, 83, of Henderson died Dec. 19, 2021 at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital.
Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 8, at the South Jackson Church of Christ.
The family will begin receiving friends at the church at 10 a.m. Saturday.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be sent to the Lingren Mission Fund, West 160 Church of Christ, P.O. Box 1004, West Plains, MO  65775 to continue the work of the Lord in Southeast Asia and the Philippines.
He was born in Hartcourt, Iowa, on April 1, 1938, son of the late Herbert Nathaniel and Zula Melissa Campbell Lingren.
He married Helon Karen Shappley of Memphis in June of 1966, and she preceded him in death in 2004.
He served in the Air National Guard of Iowa and the Air Force Reserves. He was a Christian missionary for many years in Thailand, Laos and the Philippines for the churches of Christ.
He is survived by his three daughters, Kim (Paul) Powers of Florence, Ala., Laura (Daryl) Shackleford of Quinton, Ala., and Michele (Sam) Kammanee of Henderson, and seven grandchildren.
