Anne Dickerson, 74, of Bolivar, passed from this life on Wednesday, March 16, 2022, in Bolivar.
Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Monday, March 21, at Shackelford’s Bolivar Chapel with Scottie DeLashmit officiating.
Burial was in West Memorial Cemetery.

Born Thursday, March 20, 1947, in Covington, she was just shy of her 75th birthday. She was reared in Sardis before living in Henderson and then Bolivar. She married Tommy Dickerson on Nov. 2, 1973, who passed Sept. 10, 2010.
She retired from food service at Freed-Hardeman University after 20 years of service. She was a member of New Beginnings Church in Finger.
A homemaker, she was a natural at arts and crafts. She loved to read and work crossword puzzles and was a fan of Elvis, westerns and Andy Griffith, and she especially loved her family and her grands.
She is survived a daughter, Angela (Christopher Williams) Dickerson of Lexington; one son, Jamie (Cynthia) Dickerson of Bolivar; a sister, Faye Millner of Scotts Hill; one brother, Elmer Cross; a sister-in-law, Janet Cross of Crossville; and four grandchildren, Sarah, Christopher and Jacob Dickerson and Delana (Andrew Parks) Johnson.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John Nathan and Jesse Lee Rushing Cross; her husband; a brother, Joe Cross; one brother-in-law, Neal Millner; and great-grandchildren, Kolby and Kaleb Parks.
