AUDREY CLAYTON Obituary – Nov. 8, 1978 – June 28, 2020

Audrey Mae Johnson Clayton, 41, of Henderson passed away Sunday, June 28, 2020 at her home.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Thursday at Shackelford Funeral Directors – Crook Avenue with Danny Geary officiating.
Burial will follow in Chester County Memory Gardens.
The family will receive friends at Crook Avenue from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. service time Thursday.
She was born Nov. 8, 1978 in Pascagoula, Miss., the daughter of Doris Jean Sewell Smith. She attended schools in Chester County.
She worked at Quality Metal Stamping in Henderson.
She married Larry Clayton in 2012. They made their home in Henderson. Mr. Clayton passed away in Nov. 2019.
She loved her grandchildren, her job and her friends at her work. She was a good “Sports Mom” and enjoyed supporting her children in sporting activities.
She is survived by a son, Cody Kerr of Henderson; two daughters, Brittany Kerr and Courtney Kerr, both of Henderson; her mother, Doris Jean Sewell Smith of Henderson; two grandchildren, McKenna Faith Bond and Keanu Archer Kerr; a brother, Mark Johnson of Lexington; and one sister, Wanda Cole of Lexington. 
She was preceded in death by her husband, Larry Clayton in 2019.
