Barbara Sue Spencer Crowe, 70, of Bethel Springs passed away Oct. 16, 2022 at her home.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 20, at Shackelford Funeral Directors – Crook Avenue with Chris Kitchen officiating.
Burial will follow in Sweetlips Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Crook Avenue 11 a.m.-2 p.m. service time Thursday.
She was born March 19, 1952 in Chester County, the daughter of the late Elmer “Bud” Spencer and the late Wanda Smith Spencer. She attended Chester County Schools.
She was a seamstress having worked at Chester County Sportswear, a factory at Enville and later worked several years as a caregiver for several people.
She loved working in her flower beds and was a faithful member of the New Beginning Church.
She is survived by her husband, Freddie Wayne Crowe of Bethel Springs; a son, Donnie Webb of Bethel Springs; and three sisters, Patricia (Sammy) Montgomery of Henderson, Carolyn (Harold Wayne) Wright of Enville and Joyce (Jerry Wayne) Morris of Jacks Creek.
She was preceded in death by a brother, James Gilbert Spencer.
