Brooke Adkins makes NEMCC President’s List

Brooke Haven Adkins of Henderson was recently named on the Northeast Mississippi Community College’s 2023 fall semester President’s List. Two hundred and sixty-seven (267) Northeast Mississippi Community College students achieved a grade point average (GPA) of 4.0 on a 4.0 scale for the 2023 Fall semester and as a result, have been named to the college’s distinguished President’s List.
Included in the list are representatives from 62 different cities, towns and communities across the United States of America – 250 President’s List scholars are from Mississippi, 10 hail from Tennessee, six call Alabama home and one scholar is from Florida. Two hundred and seven (207) scholars came from the college’s five-county service area of Alcorn, Prentiss, Tippah, Tishomingo and Union counties while 60 were from outside the service area.
Overall, 707 individuals were either named to the President’s List or the Vice-President’s List at Northeast for the 2023 Fall semester. Six hundred and sixty-four (664) are from the Magnolia State, 24 live in Tenneessee, 15 are from Alabama while Arkansas, Connecticut, Florida and Georgia each had a representative on the honor rolls. Of the 707 students making either the President’s or Vice President’s lists at Northeast, 544 reside within the college’s five-county service area of Alcorn, Prentiss, Tippah and Union counties.
In total, Northeast’s sphere of influence touched 102 different cities, towns and communities across the United States of America with scholars hailing from seven different states.
