Five musicians from the Chester County High School band program were selected to participate in the 45th annual University of Tennessee at Martin Honor Band Festival. Students from all over West TN came together over January 25-27 to participate in auditions for chair placement, hours of rehearsal for literature preparation, master classes with UTM instrumental faculty, all culminating in a performance concert to conclude the weekend. Selected to participate from Chester County were (from left to right): Benjamin Elder, Caleb Emerson, Zoren Simmons, Jason Hunt, and John Frix.
