Charles “Charlie” Cecil Scott, 83, of Sevierville, (formerly of Henderson, TN) passed away Wednesday, March 11, 2020.
The family received friends from 1-3 p.m. Saturday with funeral service following at 3 p.m. in the West Chapel of Atchley Funeral Home. Pastor Al Behel officiated. Interment followed the service in Shiloh Cemetery.

He was a graduate of Chester County High School and Fulton Vocational for Heating and Air Conditioning. He moved to Sevier County in 1964 where he owned and operated a heating and air company and motel. He was a member of the National Guard, Ruritan Club and attended Great Smoky Mountain Church of Christ. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, golfing and farming and was an avid card and game player. He loved to visit Cades Cove and especially spending time with his family.
He is survived by his daughters, Renee (Jeff) Weiss, Cynthia (Gary) McKay and Marjorie (Al) Hogan; grandchildren, Bridgette (Jason) Cassell, Stephanie Ellis, Rhett (Rachel) Hogan, Ethan (Amanda) Hogan, Scott (Alisha) Lafollette, Seth Lafollette (Mallory Sutton), Sonja Lafollette and Syndey McKay; great-grandchildren, Skylar Frye, Quinn Cassell, Ellis Cassell, Wilson Hogan, Ansley Hogan and Dayne Lafollette; sisters, Joyce Stewart and Brenda Pope; endeared loved one, Helen Gray; and special caregivers, Joe, Becky, Colleen, Lisa, Caris Hospice, and Morristown Hamblen Behavioral Care.
He is preceded in death by his father, Virgil Cecil Scott; mother Ruby Mae (Smith) Scott; and brothers-in-law, Max H. Stewart and Donald Pope.
