Roger Craig Middleton, Sr., 64, of Reagan passed away March 16, 2022 at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital.
Funeral services were 11 a.m. Saturday, March 19, at Shackelford Funeral Directors – East Main Chapel with Bro. James McKinney, Jr. officiating.
Burial followed in Shiloh Baptist Cemetery. The family received friends at East Main Chapel from 9-11 a.m. service time on Saturday.
He was born Jan. 7, 1958 in Madison County, the son of the late Jesse Franklin and Nancy Ella Sikes Middleton. He grew up and attended school in Chester County.
He married Diane Jones on May 27, 1978, and they made their home in Chester County. He worked as a Fiberglass Installer for Fiberfoil in Jackson.
He was a veteran, having served two years in the USMC four years in the reserves. He attended the Pleasant Ridge Full Gospel Pentecostal Church in Henderson.
He was a loving husband and father who was all about family and spending time with his grandchildren. He enjoyed fishing and telling jokes because he loved to see people smiling.
He is survived by his wife, Diane Jones Middleton; a son, Roger Craig Middleton, Jr.; one daughter, Melissa Middleton all of Reagan; six grandchildren, Derek Arnold, Monica Thomas, Leeanne Middleton, William Jesse Middleton, April Mathis and Hannah Mathis; three great grandchildren; and a brother, Terry (Leanne) Middleton of Henderson.
