EMANUEL “MANNY” HOSTETLER Obituary – Feb. 13, 2021

Emanuel Y. “Manny” Hostetler, 78, of Henderson died Saturday evening, Feb. 13, 2021 at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital. 
A Private Family Funeral service will be held with burial in Henderson City Cemetery.
He was born in Fredericksburg, Ohio, and grew up in Holmesville, Ohio, the son of the late Yost T. and Fannie Yoder Hostetler. He went to school in Holmesville.
He worked in the coal mines in Ohio for eight years and then went to work in construction. He moved to Finger in 1980 and worked for TJ & L Construction and later Dement Construction as an equipment operator and truck driver.
He married Ann Lowery in 1999. They made their home in Henderson.
He is survived by his wife, Ann Lowery Hostetler of Henderson; six sons, Daniel Hostetler, Reuben Hostetler, Yost (Melanie) Hostetler, Matthew Hostetler, all of Finger, Nathan (Angela) Hostetler of Fredericksburg, Ohio, and Timothy (Sharon) Hostetler of Wooster, Ohio; three daughters, Martha Lal (Akash) of Brooklyn, Ark., Ella (Allen) Beachy and Viola Mitchell, all of Finger; a stepson, Richie (Barbara) Smith of Luray; two step daughters, Carolyn (Chris) Reed (Chris) of Selmer and Ruth Burns of Michie; 41 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; seven brothers Toby (Mary) Hostetler of Danville, Ohio, Daniel (Amanda) Hostetler of Holmesville, Ohio, William (Elizabeth) Hostetler of Butler, Ohio, Levi (Emma) Hostetler and Eli (Amanda) Hostetler both of Apple Creek, Ohio, Uriah (Lydia) Hostetler of Fredonia, Pa., Andy (Clara) Hostetler of Holmesville, Ohio; four sisters, Emma (Mahlon) Shetler of Holmesville, Ohio, Barbara (Dan) Miller and Fannie (Joni) Miller, both of Apple Creek, Ohio, and Mary (Johnny) Miller of Holmesville, Ohio.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Ada Hostetler; an infant grandson, Austin Cody Hostetler; one brother Ruben Hostetler; a sister Elizabeth Byler; and one son-in-law, Jake Mitchell.
