Ethel Rhea Neisler Bishop, of Henderson, passed away Saturday evening Feb. 26, 2022 at her home near Henderson.
Funeral services were 2 p.m. Wednesday at Shackelford Funeral Directors – East Main Chapel with Terry Johnson officiating. 
Burial followed at Henderson City Cemetery.
The family received friends at the funeral home from noon until service time of 2 p.m. Wednesday.
She was born in Chester County, March 21, 1928, the daughter of the late George Robert and Emma Sue Ervin Neisler.  She was a graduate of Chester County High School.
She married Billie Bishop in 1953.  They owned and operated Bill’s Grocery and Diner in Henderson for many years. 
She also was a teacher’s aide at East Chester Elementary for many years before retiring.  She was a member of the Plainview Church of Christ.  She was a devoted wife and mother who enjoyed reading, gardening and caring for her dog, “Petey.”
She is survived by two sons, Timothy Gene (Betty Jo) Bishop of Saltillo and Jeffrey Morgan Bishop of Memphis, and two grandchildren, Melissa Bishop and Stephen Bishop.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; four brothers, James Robert Neisler, Lester Neisler, Herman Neisler and Carl Neisler; and three sisters, Hessie Mae Terry, Velma Snider and Effie Neisler.
