Faye Marie Potter, 62, of Pinson died Thursday, Oct. 20, 2022 at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital. There are no public services scheduled.
She was born May 5, 1960 in Jackson, daughter of Georgia Marie Rouse Burkeen and the late George Thomas Burkeen. She grew up in Chester County and was a 1978 graduate of Chester County High School.
She married Ralph Potter in 1995, and they spent 30 years together.
She owned several businesses for a time and had also worked at Cash Express as a loan officer and most recently at World Finance for the last 15 years, retiring just one week prior to her death.
She was always a very hard worker who enjoyed fishing and animals, especially horses, dogs and cats.
She loved spending time with her great-niece Ava and great-nephew Noah.
She is survived by her mother, Georgia Burkeen of Pinson; her husband, Ralph Potter of Toone; a brother, David Burkeen, Sr.; nephew, David (Linsay) Burkeen, Jr.; and great-nephew and great-niece, Noah and Ava, all of Pinson.
She was preceded in death by her father and a daughter Jessica Sanders.
