Freed-Hardeman University is thrilled to announce its Transfer Scholarship Program, which aims to provide seamless support and financial assistance to transfer students pursuing their higher education goals.
Transfer students are eligible for the same scholarships and discounts as first-time freshmen at FHU. Transfer merit scholarships are awarded based on a student’s cumulative high school GPA and highest ACT/SAT/CLT composite score, offering scholarships ranging from $3,000 to $15,000 per year. Transfer scholarships cannot be combined with athletic scholarships.
Alternatively, transfer students may be awarded a transfer scholarship based on their cumulative college GPA only. These scholarships are available for students with a 2.0 college GPA and above, ranging from $2,000 to $7,000 per year.
David R. Shannon, president of Freed-Hardeman University, expressed his support for the initiative, saying, “FHU is dedicated to providing opportunities for all students to access a quality education. The Transfer Scholarship Program is a testament to our commitment to supporting transfer students in achieving their academic aspirations.”
Freed-Hardeman University welcomes transfer students to explore this incredible opportunity to continue their educational journey with confidence. FHU remains committed to fostering academic excellence, and the Transfer Scholarship Program is just one of the many ways the university supports students in their pursuit of higher education.
