GARRICK SELLS Obituary – Oct. 14, 1975 – Nov. 20, 2020

Adam Garrick Sells, 45, of Beech Bluff passed away Nov. 20, 2020 at his home.
Funeral services were 2 p.m. Wednesday at Shackelford Funeral Directors – East Main Chapel with Iran Smith, Tyler Meek and Jeremy Sells officiating.
Burial followed in Old Friendship Cemetery south of Henderson. The family received friends at East Main Chapel from 4-8 p.m. on Tuesday.
He was born Oct. 14, 1975 in Jackson, the son of the James Ronald and Eva Eulena Cupples Sells.  He grew up in Selmer and graduated from Hardin County High School at Savannah in 1993. He married Jennifer Meek in 2004. They made their home at Hickory Corner. He worked at Duro Bag in Jackson for 20 years, later Premier Manufacturing in Henderson, MCI in Lexington and most recently as a correctional officer with the Chester County Sheriff’s Department.   They currently make their home in the New Friendship Community of Chester County.
He enjoyed golfing and playing tennis with Abby. He was an Alabama football fan. He always greeted his mother with a, “Hello, Mom,” and a huge hug. He enjoyed family outings at Pinson Mounds. He attended Old Friendship Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Jennifer Renee Meek Sells; two daughters, Abby Sells and Anna Beth Sells; his father and mother, James Ronald and Eva Eulena Cupples Sells of Milton, Fla.; a brother, Jeremy (Sarah) Sells of Scotts City, Mo.; one sister, Ashley Sells of Milton, Fla.; his father and mother-in-law, Ronnie and Kathy Meek; a sister-in-law, Jennifer (the late Anthony) Meek; and nephews and nieces, Tyler Meek, Kent Sells, Karoline Sells, Lizzie Sells, Katie Sells, Jacob Sells and Maggie Sells.
He is the grandson of the late, John G. and Marie Sells and George and Laura Cupples.
