Glenda Smith McNeil Rogers, 74, of Henderson passed away Sept. 10, 2020 at her home.
Funeral services were 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 12, at Shackelford Funeral Directors – East Main Chapel with Bro. Charles Ward officiating.
Burial followed in Chester County Memory Gardens. The family received friends at East Main Chapel from 5-8 p.m. on Friday.
She was born Oct. 22, 1945 in McNairy County, the daughter of the late Birl and Loraine Williams Smith. She attended schools in McNairy County.
She was a member of the Antioch Baptist Church. She married Danny Rogers on April 9, 1983.
She worked as a seamstress in the garment industry for many years. She worked at McNairy County Hospital and later for Pro Care of Tennessee as a home care health aide.
She is survived by a daughter, Paulette (Jeff) Sells of Henderson; one son, Tony (Connie) McNeil of Parsons; a stepson, Monty (Angie) Rogers of Mayfield, Ky.; grandchildren, Reed Brady, Andrew McNeil, Sarah McNeil, Kristian Sells and Nicholas Sells; and step-grandchildren, Cannon Rogers and Tiffany Rogers.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Danny Rogers in 2012; a stepson, Kevin Rogers in 1999; and one sister, Joan Morgan.
