GLENN COOK, JR. Obituary – JULY 14, 1950 – DEC. 11, 2021

Glenn Murray Cook, Jr., 71, of Pulaski passed away Dec. 11, 2021 at his home in Pulaski. Funeral services were 11 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 14, at Shackelford Funeral Directors – East Main Chapel with David Looney officiating. Burial followed in Finger Cemetery. The family received friends at East Main Chapel beginning at 9 a.m. until service time of 11 a.m. Tuesday. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Children’s Home, Inc.,  5515 Walcott Road,  Paragould, AR 72450-3319 or a charity of the donor’s choice.
He was born July 14, 1950 at Selmer and grew up at Finger, the son of Glenn Murray Cook, Sr. and the late Fauntella Brock Cook. He graduated from Chester County High School in 1968 and graduated from Freed-Hardeman College in 1970 and U. T. Martin in 1972 as a Registered Nurse. He then graduated from Anesthetist school in St. Louis. He worked at Jackson General Hospital for a few years and the hospital in Lawrenceburg and finished his nursing career at a hospital in Huntsville. He had made his home in Pulaski for 30 years.
He enjoyed television shows from the 60s, particularly comedy shows. He enjoyed traveling to the Smoky Mountains and West Virginia.  He was a member of the Finger Church of Christ.
He is survived by his father, Glenn Murray Cook, Sr. of Finger; a brother, Johnny (Katrina) Cook of Finger; and two nephews, John Taylor Cook and Garrett Cook.
