ILAINE DAVIDSON Obituary – Oct. 17, 1935 – Nov. 16, 2020

Myrtle Ilaine Weaver Davidson, 85, of Henderson passed away Nov. 16, 2020 at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital.
Memorial services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Shackelford Funeral Directors – Crook Avenue with Ronnie Geary and Paul Weaver officiating.
The family will receive friends at Crook Avenue from 10-11 a.m. on Saturday. Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
She was born Oct. 17, 1935 in Chester County, the daughter of the late Odell and Mildred Hurst Weaver. She attended schools at Hickory Corner.
She married Roy Davidson on July 29, 1954. They made their home in Houston, Texas, where Mr. Davidson was an electrician for the city of Houston and she was a homemaker. She had made her home in Henderson for the past two years. She loved her grandchildren and enjoyed listening to gospel music and watching the Gaither’s. She collected bird and butterfly figurines. She enjoyed crocheting, knitting and needle work. She was a member of the Freeway Baptist Church in Houston, Texas.
She is survived by two sons, Bryon Davidson of Henderson and Jeffrey (Kathy) Davidson of Houston, Texas; a daughter, Deanne (Shane) Brooks of Bethel Springs; eight grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; three brothers, Paul Weaver of Jackson, Larry Weaver of Decaturville and Dennis Weaver of Florida; and one sister, Regina Weaver of Jackson.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Roy Davidson; and three brothers, Elmer Weaver, Wayne Weaver and Chester Weaver.
