IMOGENE “IMY” FITTS Obituary – Feb. 14, 1927 – July 19, 2021

Imogene Valentine Bulliner Fitts, 94, of Henderson passed away Monday morning, July 19, 2021 at the Henderson Health & Rehabilitation Center. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Saturday, July 24, at Shackelford Funeral Directors – Crook Avenue. Burial will follow in Henderson City Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Crook Avenue from 9-11 a.m. service time Saturday.
She was born Feb. 14, 1927 in Chester County, the daughter of the late Walter and Mary Elizabeth Wamble Bulliner. She grew up in Chester County. She married Charles “Jack” Fitts on Sept. 15, 1946. They made their home in Henderson. Jack preceded her in death on Dec. 12, 2018 after 72 years of marriage. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Henderson.
She was a homemaker but also served as a school nurse at Chester County Elementary School.
She is survived by a daughter, Candice Kay Grant of Henderson; one grandson, Peyton Frank; and three great-grandchildren, Sydney Frank, Hannah Frank and Elliot Frank.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Charles R. “Jack” Fitts; three brothers, Howard Bulliner, Dewayne Bulliner and Jack Bulliner; and a sister, Martha Parrish.
