Jamie Lee White Nash, 95, of Pinson passed away July 24, 2022 at her home. Funeral services were 11 a.m. Tuesday, July 26, at Shackelford Funeral Directors of Henderson’s East Main Chapel with Dr. James Huggins officiating. Burial followed in New Friendship Cemetery. The family received friends at East Main Chapel from 5-8 p.m. Monday.
She was born Oct. 16, 1926 in Hardin County at Sardis and grew up in Chester County, the daughter of the late James Woodard and Velma Irene Inman White.
She attended schools in Chester County and married Maurice Carnel Nash, Feb. 12, 1944. They made their home in Chester County near Five Points. Mr. Nash passed away in 1980.
She worked at Salant and Salant and I Apel Manufacturing Corporation for 36 years. She loved her flowers, gardening and grandchildren. She was a member of Unity Baptist Church.
She is survived by her sons, Maurice C., (Mary) Jr. of Jackson, Jimmy (Connie) Nash of Pinson, and Curtis (Beth) Nash of Jacks Creek; daughter, Betty Armstrong of Pinson; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; brother, Curtis White; and three sisters, Ida Preslar, Rozell Malone, and Neva Inman.
